Retailer Comparison: Where to Shop
- LEGO Direct (LEGO.com & LEGO Stores): Best choice if you are aiming for exclusive GWPs, 2x Insiders points, or hard-to-find D2C sets.
- Amazon & Big-Box Retailers (Target / Walmart): Best choice for straightforward, steep cash discounts (often up to 30–40% off) on widely distributed themes like Star Wars, Technic, Harry Potter, and City.
Smart Buyer Checklist
- Create/Verify Your LEGO Insiders Account: Insiders Weekend (Nov 21–22) requires a free account to access early deals and 2x points.
- Build Your Wishlist in Advance: High-demand retiring sets and low-stock GWPs sell out within minutes of midnight releases.
- Split Orders for Multiple GWPs: If you plan on spending $400+, consider placing two separate qualifying orders if GWP stock allows, maximizing your promotional freebie yield.
